Configure both band settings
Set squelch so background noise is silenced
Press [SET] key momentarily, to ente set mode
Rotate "main" band dial knob to menu #44 (X-RPT)
Press "main" band dial momentarily, "XSTRT" will appear
Press "main" band dial knob again to activate cross-band repeater mode
To exit cross-band repeater mode, Press [SET] key again.
